TIED DOUBLE BELLOW EXPANSION JOINTS
FOR A STEAM APPLICATION

Belman Flexibles India has engineered and manufactured two Tied Double Bellow Expansion Joints for installation in a Steam Application in South America.

CLIENT ISSUE

The client had a large amount of lateral offset in multiple planes in their steam piping system. To accommodate these lateral movements they were looking for some Expansion Joints and therefore turned to Belman Flexibles India.

Tied Double Bellow Expansion Joint for steam piping

To help the client, we designed two Expansion Joints to meet the specifications as a double bellow design with tie rods/movement limiters to control the correct absorption of the lateral movement. Here the Expansion Joints are incorporated with 2 multi-convoluted bellows connected with an intermediate pipe. Additionally, each unit consists of outer covers and inner sleeve to provide more protection to the Bellows.
