The client needed an Expansion Bellow to accommodate axial, lateral and angular movements in combination.

Universal Expansion Bellow solution for a steel plant
Belman Flexibles India designed a 1400 NB Universal Expansion Bellow that is able to absorb several types of movement simultaneously, including axial, lateral and angular movements. Also, this double Bellow design incorporates tie rod construction to control the absorption of the movements in the pipeline. The Universal Expansion bellow is designed to withstand a design pressure of 2 Kg/cm2g and a 300 °C shell temperature. The material selection for the Expansion Joint consists of Bellows made from SS240 Gr.316L and with inner sleeves, pipe end and flanges made from SA516 Gr.70.
In addition, it has applied a double coat of oxide primer for further protection from rust formation and is supposed to be refractory-lined at the client site.
